Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme (WELS)
This scheme labels a range of products for water efficiency. WELS rating labels contain stars to indicate how efficiently that product uses water – the more stars, the better. Look for 4-6 stars on the WELS label for the best performance. Typical products that would carry a WELS rating include taps, flow controllers, showers, lavatories and urinals, clothes washers and dishwashers.
