Background
The program originated following rounds of the Sustainable Living at Home (SLAH) program in recent years. City of Port Phillip and the facilitator of SLAH, Geoff Brown, identified a need from the inspired and enthusiastic participants of this program to lead others in active community projects that inspire and generate further change.
This opportunity to increase community leadership skills was widened from environmental projects, as the skills needed and taught are applicable to any community project.
Our graduates commit to being actively engaged in "sowing what they know" into new or better projects in the community. We look forward to shared stories of great results.
